S, SS, SMS non-woven fabrics are important members of the non-woven fabric family.
S nonwoven fabric refers to a single-layer spunbond nonwoven fabric. It is a non-woven fabric formed by spinning the polymer raw material directly by the spunbond method. This non-woven fabric has high strength, uniform fiber distribution, and can withstand a certain amount of tension and friction. Its appearance is relatively flat, and it is used in packaging materials in many fields, such as the outer packaging of medical supplies, or simple dust cover, etc., using its good physical properties to provide basic protection and isolation.
The SS non-woven fabric is a double-layer spunbond non-woven fabric. Its strength is higher than that of S non-woven fabric, because it has a two-layer spunbond structure, which has more advantages in thickness and stiffness. It is widely used in some occasions that require higher strength and durability, such as industrial wiping cloth, which can be wiped repeatedly without damage, and can effectively remove impurities such as oil and dust.
SMS non-woven fabric is composed of spunbond-meltblown-spunbond three-layer structure. The spunbond layer of the outer layer provides good strength and abrasion resistance, and the meltblown layer in the middle has fine fibers and good filtration performance, which can block small particles, such as bacteria and viruses. This kind of non-woven fabric has excellent comprehensive performance and is widely used in the field of medical protection.
